Ponygirl Vet — Part Six of Y

Ponygirl Vet

Part 6 of Y

The tethered ponygirl remained docile when Vera eventually directed her attention towards the animal’s bum. Still, the vet registered the slight shudder in her patient, that tell-tale shift from arousal to distress. Anal insertion was part and parcel of pony training – those tails wouldn’t stick by themselves. Well, actually, they did. In tack-lingo the term “tail” referred to the unit as a whole, comprised of the insertable portion and the strand segment. Applejuice did not fight the removal in the slightest, yet had no full control over her fundament. The complex array of muscles flexed and relaxed around the pear-shaped rubber bulb it was trapping with its very own grip. Vera maintained a constant pull action, under which the taut ring finally opened. Now the ponygirl did show defensive behaviour, straining against her fetters to follow and thus counteract the pull. Something was causing her pain beyond the stretching sensation. Vera paused, but did not allow the bulb to be sucked back in. Once the pony had settled down again, she resumed her extraction. Slow progress was made and more pauses were needed as the sore anus experienced a steady increase in dilation. The point of no return arrived with the section of largest diameter, and once that had passed the barrier the remaining part was quickly pushed out due to its tapered form. Applejuice trembled in her bonds from this final sensory rush. A temporary gape verified that she had been kept tailed for quite some time, as it was to be expected in her stage of training. The plugs routinely came out for morning and evening grooming. Applejuice’s one was a medium-sized model, still slightly slick, with a pronounced yet flowing profile. Perfect for long-term wear.

Vera trusted in a descent amount of water-based, numbing lubricant for an initial digital exam. Rectal heat immediately soaked through the thin layer of latex. One would be amazed by how hot a ponygirl’s bottom could run. The opening effect of the tail plug was clearly being diminished by nervous tension. Applejuice’s sphincter clenched her finger, engulfed it with a fearful grip, but lost a fraction of resistance with every massaging cycle the vet performed. Having achieved a sufficient level of relaxation, Vera reached for the anoscope that was lying prepared on a nearby tray. The stainless steel instrument was warmed up and pre-lubed, and its elongated form slid into the patient’s rear without eliciting more than a cute bitted gasp.

Once the device was fully inserted, its solid inner portion had fulfilled its purpose and was in fact obstructing the view into Applejuice’s simmering anus. In a smooth motion Vera removed the no longer needed obturator, which left the ponygirl pried open by the hollow bum-scope itself. The penlight came into play again, revealing the pinkish and now stretched-out folds of Applejuice’s anal lining at the end of the tube to Vera’s discerning eye. Injuries in this anatomical region were overall infrequent, but if they occurred, fissures were amongst the most common ones. Bad tailing practice was often to blame; incorrectly sized plugs, insufficient lubrication. At Vahrenfeld, dry-tailing was generally frowned upon. Little was to be achieved by tearing a filly or making her chafe her rear passage during a snappy gallop. Some handlers claimed to see an increased delicateness in gait. Some stables were obsessed with prevention of tail slippage (I am looking at you, Willowood Mews!).

With a steady hand the vet retracted the anoscope, always shining her light at the tissue as it was closing up behind the metal sheath. Applejuice did not appear overly happy about being spread open and only gradually allowed to tighten up again, but she behaved herself. Near the internal sphincter Vera halted, fetched a cotton swab, dabbed some excess lube away.

“I knew it! That bitch…” she cursed under her breath, not to agitate her patient. Ponies were very versed in picking up on pitch and intonation.

The exam was revealing several inflamed blotches which had developed around tiny lacerations in the lining. Vera briefly reinserted the obturator to safely reposition the anoscope. Lacerations indeed, evenly distributed around a good part of the anal canal. The pattern went on to the intermuscular groove between internal and external sphincter, where Vera eased the instrument out of Applejuice’s backside. Again the orifice remained slightly open, a sheen of lube on it.

Those marks had not been caused by the type of tail she had extracted some minutes ago. Blondie had used a spiked plug on the ponygirl, and very recently so. In her career Vera had confiscated quite a few of them, even before they had been banned by the authorities. All shared a common design feature in that the narrow section near the base was jagged or spiked around its circumference. Contraction of the sphincter muscles – ideally prompted by some whacks of the crop – would have those serrations embedded into the anal walls. At the price of much anguish for the pony a slipping or rotating tail would no longer be an issue. It was an open secret that handlers of a certain proclivity kept them as a fall-back option for “difficult” fillies. Usage would kick a party out of any dressage competition, but wasn’t enough to get one’s licence revoked.

Carefully Vera reintroduced a finger into the abused hole, this time coated with an ointment to facilitate the healing process. The numbing effect of the original lubricant was still present, so Applejuice wasn’t experiencing anything beyond mild discomfort. Although being the proper choice in this situation, desensitising should not be necessary in every-day training. A tail plug of well-considered size and form was the only secret ingredient, Vera had preached time and again. One could even skimp on lube against her recommendation, if extensive digital preparation had preceded. By all means, let a pony know about her tail. But don’t let her suffer from it.

The misconception prevailed that once a ponygirl had been branded, it became a “fun-imal” at best and a beast of burden free to be used and abused at worst. True, the crest brand was the ultimate symbol of ownership. And yes, a branded pony was property in every legal and social sense. But equine rights had come a long way. Vera the Vet’s strongly held believe was that with bestowing the crest came the obligation to provide the means for a fulfilled existence. Naturally this involved basic elements such as stabling, nourishment and the lamest of them all: medical care. But above that higher needs for confidence and achievement had to be addressed by a regime of daily training and strict dressage – and yes, by correction of deficiencies through physical pain. Whipping a pony’s skin to shreds and shoving spiked gear into her from both ends did not improve on confidence, nor did it evoke a sense of achievement within the poor creature. Perhaps Vera had too romantic a notion of such matters. Still, her professional ethos demanded that Vahrenfeld’s sigil, seared permanently into Applejuice’s flesh by hot iron, do not stand for cruelty and abuse.

Long time reader, first time commenter. I wanted to drop a note thanking you for your creative efforts, particularly works like ‘Ponygirl Vet’.

You have managed to find an interesting angle in this story – a clinical examination of a ponygirl by a vet who might be getting a little *too* fixated on the ponygirl experience – that distinguishes it from other examples of the genre.

I’m interested to see where Vera’s interests take her!

Thank you for dropping that note. Those efforts of mine can be few and far between at times.

Staying with Ponygirl Vet, I find this fetish highly versatile as it lends itself to so many approaches: pet play, bondage, discipline, medical, you name it.

I believe we all have a hunch where Vera’s fixation will take her. It’s not the most creative conclusion, but consistent with the character and, I assume, looked forward to by the majority of readers.

re Vera, perhaps it’s the journey, not necessarily the destination that’s important. We anticipate where she’ll end up, but the enjoyment is in how she gets there.

As for the length of time between chapters – I’m perfectly happy for you taking as long as it needs to. I check in every week or so, and it’s always a pleasure when a new chapter pops up – Ponygirl Vet or otherwise.

Thanks again for your writing and your response.

Maybe I’m dense, but for me, it’s not obvious where Vera’s headed.

After all, being confronted daily with the abuse ponygirls suffer by the likes of Blondie should disabuse her of any ideas of becoming one herself…

          (micro-spoiler:)

We have to consider her “fixation” here, as mentioned in the first comment: Given her being so invested in the well-being of her filly friends, she wants to look into every aspect of their hardships. Not full-time, but deep enough to gain a knowledge base for arguing against certain practices.
